How It Works

The Aspen Ideas Award features submissions by Festival Presenters and Scholars. From these submissions, five finalists were chosen per session to pitch their ideas to a live audience during the Aspen Ideas Festival. The winner of each session was awarded $25,000 to help put their idea into action and will be invited back to the 2016 Aspen Ideas Festival to share their progress with Festival attendees.
