Walker's Legacy: Equipping Diverse Women For Entrepreneurship and Beyond

Studies have shown that women of color represent the fastest growing entrepreneurial segments in the country and represent the largest share of the $2.5 billion dollar collective spend of African American and Hispanic communities.

Despite these findings, women of color still earn less than all their non-minority female counterparts, $0.64 and $0.58, disproportionally suffer from fewer funding dollars and more difficulty in succeeding in corporate America.

Walker’s Legacy, a national women in business collective endeavors to address the disparity in entrepreneurial and professional success for women, by developing robust on-line eco-system of support to educate, equip and inspire, directly empowering and improving economic advancement in underserved communities through the advancement of women.
