24/7 Climate March

In 2014, 450k people gathered for a climate march in NYC and then dispersed. The world was awed by its scale. We need a way to signal to friends and strangers that we want change, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week in order to create a tipping point of critical mass in which all follow.

Campaign for Magnitsky sanctions against human rights abusers worldwide

As the world becomes more global, human rights abusers have started to travel and keep their money abroad. As a result, there is now a tool to challenge the impunity of these criminals in the form of targeted visa sanctions and asset freezes, using a proposed law called the US Global Magnitsky Act.

Oasis: Distributed Utilities for Rural Development

Oasis is a cheap, replicable way to provide foundational services (clean water, solar-powered electricity, and digital communication) to rural settlements in developing countries. By collocating these services, Oasis becomes a hub where traditional rural economies can continue to thrive, while slowly introducing them to broader, global markets.

We should all be concerned about the growing incivility in public discourse, whether on news/talk shows or in town hall meetings. I propose to build at application that will analyze discourse at group meetings to detect "unhealthy" interactions and provide guidance for improved discourse.
