Asili is a sustainable community-owned startup designed and created through a partnership between the American Refugee Committee and IDEO.org in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It was developed based on the needs and desires of the community and offers a three-pronged approach to better health: a clinic, clean water, and an agricultural center.

Unilever’s supply chain includes 1.5 million smallholder farmers. The idea is to use our agricultural supply chain as a delivery channel to provide access to solutions such as water purifiers, improved cook stoves, solar lights, etc. to improve the health of these farmers and their families
