If children from economically challenged communities do not graduate from high school, chances are, they will be condemned to a life of poverty. Connect-IN, helps disadvantaged youth connect a quality education to their future financial wellbeing.
The Ever Forward Club is a mentor-led, youth development program for middle school and high school students. EFC aims to address the underlying causes of dropouts, the growing achievement gap of inner city youth and youth violence in a preventive manner by providing students with a safe place to share their feelings and build character.
I propose to improve college completion rates for first generation and under-represented minority students by supplementing MOOCs with Learning Hubs.
